-that's what wikipedia has to say about it, but under UK law, if they have the same laws, a UK citizen would not be breaking any laws in having sex with a US 16yo, but the US 16yo would be.

I can't seem to find it right now but I remember reading it in a wiki article that it falls back to the resident of the state's law not where the act is committed.
