A GENUINE well done to Man U for the title (it's a formality isn't it?). No fan can turn around and bemoan the title this year. It has been there for the taking this year but no team has grabbed the chance and the way Man U destroyed Schalke and Chelsea in recent games is to be applauded.

It has been a less than exciting league this year though but there has been some highlights. Gareth Bale is one hell of a player, Fernandez seems to be worth every penny of his transfer fee, Van Der Vaart was a snip at the price and Vidic is still a lucky so and so to stay on the pitch at times.

Let's hope that Houllier does decide to leave Villa. Health problems or not, it is a bad appointment.
