who's at the wheel
Thought that i was achieving something, something good
when i was on top of my game, i was on the right route.
Helping people helping myself
no hurt no pain no suffering dealt.
Watching the seasons pass
time flowed by nicely
work was not to be rushed
but the end to that was likely
With new laws a passing
being hypicritical, now everyone is now at war.
Driving forward, but not at the wheel
someone got there first, it's not a good feel
cannot do anything about it, must sit this one out
praying for the good old days to come back around.
As you might have guessed, another nail in my coffin
success is for the successful, i am not no boffin
Though hard to eccept at first, time makes it easier
to sit back and watch your dying career.
Who passes the laws, who or what are they thinking
do they really believe it will work, they must spend a lot of time jerking
women are all looking obese, they are starting to smell
and all the guys look buggered, oh well.
So whats the outcome then
life will take it's course
many a dear friend, will never get the source
always falling short, before the finishing line
nothing is easy anymore, to hard to define.
