Blind Lemon was great. He's a local hero. Dallas, Texas was his old stomping ground. He used to play in Deep Ellum a lot, I've seen many local bands there. It's quite an honor knowing that I've walked some of the same ground that Blind Lemon Jefferson walked. Dallas is where he met T-bone Walker, and taught Walker the ways of the Blues. And of course, Walker went on to be the father of electric blues.
