'Let it be' is a great song. 'Come Together' is one that I don't like all that much anymore.
Considering that he just recommended Rubber Soul, listen to the song 'in my life'. It's one of my favorites. There's a great little Bach inspired piano piece in the song, it sounds great.
I'd recommend The White Album. Give the song 'long, long, long' a listen. It's a pretty unique song.
