Try some Limp Bizkit or Kid Rock.
From LB songs like "Nookie", "Rollin" , "My Generation", "Gold Cobra", "Faith"
From Kid Rock "Bawitdaba", "Cowboy", "Cocky" etc.
Its as you said, mostly fun upbeat rhythmic music that makes you wanna move, not to be taken too serious

Speaking of LB I'm searching for stuff like their first album, that means mostly angry songs with awesome breakdowns like Pollution, Stuck, Counterfeit etc. Anybody knows bands/songs similar to that?
