I would nominate Dragonforce, Powerglove, Horse the Band, Enter Shikari, Attack Attack, Asking Alexandria, Emmure, Chelsea Grin, Atreyu, hed(PE), Six Feet Under, Battlecross, Cradle of Filth, Limp Bizkit, Black Veil Brides, Nightwish, Kamelot, the list goes on...(and all of these bands are easily much worse than the aforementioned three)

I haven't even listened to half of those bands, but Slipknot is as bad or worse than all of the ones you mentioned that I have listened to before. There's nothing appealing there, if I want to listen to Fear Factory/Sepultura, I'll listen to those bands who were doing exactly the type of thing Slipknot's done, but for longer and to a better quality result.
Same with Disturbed, Godsmack, Korn, Limp Bizkit, etc.
