The worst thing I can find about a band is trying too hard to be something that they're not (yes posers). I feel that Slipknot is the worst kind, not just by their image, but through their music. That's where my harsh statement came from. Also I do hear the similarity in Soulfly (however worse they've made it) but I'm leaving this as a stand alone comment.
It's funny when someone makes a disapproving statement, they seem to point out towards your personal experience as a just reason when they have absolutely no idea about it.
