Blegh. Now, I love, love, love me some Motley Crue. Their first two albums are stone cold classics, and there material since New Tattoo has been surprisingly good, but
Dr. Feelgood is totally overrated. Half the songs are cool ("Dr Feelgod", "Kickstart My Heart", "Same Ol' Situation", "She Goes Down", and "Don't Go Away Mad"), but the other half are either just decent ("Slice of Your Pie", "Sticky Sweet", "Rattlesnake Shake"), or just downright forgettable ("Without You" and "Time for Change"). Then, we have Bob Rock's ****ty, sanitized production that just takes most of the balls out of the music. If you want sleazy, cheesy arena metal, Skid Row do it so much better.
