If you have never REALLY listened to all of his music, I can understand what everyone is saying. But, if you have ever dedicated time to listening to Continuum in its entirety, than you will realize that his IS a blues guitarist, and a dang good one. And that album is proof. His other work is a bit more on the soft rock side, and his reputation precedes him, but regardless, he is more talented than most anyone else that I would hear on the radio.
