He's a very impressionistic artist, some of his stuff is just to sound nice, but he'll tell some very intricate stories that are obscured by his stream of consciousness style. Supreme Clientele is probably the album that best utilizes this method of writing. He even (kinda maybe) drops an allusion to the James Joyce short story "Two Gallants" on "
