I loved you post and I think your answer was the closest to what I was talking about to begin with. Other people have taken it as an "appearance" thing, which I didn't really think about but I enjoyed reading...
When I ask, "does the music you listen to define you as a person?" I meant the lyrics, sounds, and emotions the music conveys...I aspire to be as creative as Dave Matthews or as calm and tranquil as Origa, and often I wish I was as epic as Howard Shore. Music that I like is a part of me, but it has nothing to do with appearances..
Or then again, am I part of the music I listen to? It's a constant question in my mind. But yeah, some songs/artists really speak to my soul and reflect, I think, who I am.
