The theory of creationism is just the word of man, just like the bible is. It's hard to believe such tales when it all acts as one big chinese whisper, you couldn't get a straight answer unless you talked to "God" himself. so are you saying that in order for god to exist, and be pure goodness, our lives must be perfect and without pain.....can you imagine what sort of life would it be if we were constantly happy and felt no pain? i think that's exactly what makes this form of existance so special, because all of it prepares us for the next level...and when thinkng about the creation of us all and the universe, one must take into cosideration time right? so how far back can we go? what is infinity? if they say the universe was created 5 billion years ago, what was there before it? nothing? how can something be created out of nothing? and if there is no god or the afterlife, what is the purpose of our existace? why are we alive and able to think about our own mortality?
