I actually don't doubt any of that, what bothers me are the twats I've met in real life that claim they listen to everything without realizing there's like 900 genres they've never even heard of, let alone listened to.
Example of a conversation I've had:
Me: so what kind of music do you like
Them: oh anything. i listen to everything!
Me: oh ok!!! so what's your favorite sludge metal band??
Them: huh?
