I could go on for hours bout "The Man in Black", I also think that, while his later stuff was undoubtably Country Western, a lot of his early stuff like Cry Cry Cry and Folsom Prison Blues are more Rockabilly than Country, though Im not denying Rockabilly its country roots. There are so many awesome Johnny Cash Songs. I'll list my top 5 (in no particular order)
When The Man Comes Around (though not a fan of its religious message)
Folsom Prison Blues (I love "I shot a man in reno, just to watch him die, I also think its funny how he played this at Folsom Prison....even after he was told not to do anything to remind the prisoners that they were in prison)
Ring of Fire (totally got ripped off by Greenday....but thats neither here nor there, I also enjoy the Social Distortion cover)
I Walk the Line(just a great overall song)
Boy Named Sue (this is where he starts to sound more Country Western IMO.......this song is brilliant, I love the line "My Name is Sue, How Do you Do? Now Youre gonna DIE!!!!!)
EDIT:I have to make it my top 6, cause I love the song
Man in Black ("But just so we're reminded of the ones who were held back, Up front there oughta be a Man in Black" great line, this song is amazing....I may be wrong but I didnt notice it on anyone elses top 5 list, c'mon people)
