After an initial burst of interest it faded in terms of how many --- or actually how few --- people were sending songs to him and Rezz eventually felt it wasn't worth his time for the amount of effort he was putting into it. Who knows? He may start it up again if enough people get interested, but I'd think he'd want commitments from people to post every week otherwise it would all just fall down again.
Edit: Also, it wasn't a game. It was a genuine effort for people to introduce other members to their style of music and widen horizons.
