Yep Troll dear boy, that's definitely a jazz-fusion album. As I've mentioned to you on prior occasions though, Metheny has done some absolutely amazing albums with his Group that I know you'd like more than Offramp. Hell, I even reviewed his 2005 outing The Way Up on my smooth jazz journal awhile back.

I'd recommend any of the following (among others) to you if your ever in the mood for some bona fide classics from his canon:

Still Life (Talking) (1987)

Letter From Home (1989)

We Live Here (1995)

Speaking Of Now (2002)
