Been watching some cable recently (HBO) catching up on all the movies i've missed.
Now you see me
Entertaining flick but also incredibly stupid.
Midway through the movie i had already figured out the plot twist in the end but it was interesting to internally weed out the suspects but ofc it was the detective.. he was the biggest misdirection in the act.
42
42 is a movie about Jack Robinson the first negro player to be accepted in the MLB.
It's based on a true story that's not so true cause the dialogue in that movie is too modern.
Yea they deal with racism and illustrate the ignorance of it but it's done through the mindset we have now.
it's like the main characters on the movie are in on the joke, they simply know too much.
instead of showing what really happened they showed what is ideally supposed to happen to plug some anti-racism message.
