Music Banter - View Single Post - Who deserves the title "The King of Rock and Roll"?

I'd say Chuck Berry even though I'm only a VERY casual fan of 50's music in general. Truthfully, the history of that era and what happened then is more interesting to me than the majority of the actual music, in my opinion. Having said that, it should NEVER be ignored though. In short order, we probably wouldn't have had rock and roll as we know it without the contributions of Chuck.
