If they don't ask for help I don't see where the morality issue comes into play. Not everyone appreciates or wants to live like Western Civ/Europe. Those people have gotten by the entire time and they will continue to do so, there is nothing to fix except "civilized" people viewing them as some sort of lesser culture or human just because they are different.

It's like people who feel bad when zebras get ate by lions. Nature is f*cking brutal, anyone who thinks otherwise is either naive or dense as f*ck.
