Twas a joke. JWB is a jerk, but he gets a pass because he's direct, and his lack of emotions gives him a sort of honesty and a redemptive quality. Whereas I am simply a jerk, with no such qualities to redeem my behavior.
Also, I've never tried to pass myself off as "cool", so Bob can keep all of his gold medals from the Cool Olympics.
