As this journal should have proven by now, great albums have been released in every year since the dawn ow recorded music, and 2005 is no exception. The greatness and significance of
Dälek is pretty much etched in stone at this point, and that album in particular for me was a game changer. It was so uniquely different to anything I had ever heard before. A true masterpiece. Next up is the magnificent self-titled release from
Boduf Songs. One of very few albums that gives me the chills due to it's lyrical and musical darkness. The rest of the list has a nice balance of Hip Hop, noise/drone and rock. And all albums I truly enjoy. 2005 was a great year.
