I'm liking this...keeps me in a reflective mood so I wanna know more about Black Uhuru.
However,
Sizzla Kalonji (after Bob Marley) will always be my fav hands down! He may not be considered classic Reggae but this "Conscious" style that evolved from black activist overtones with artistes such as Buju Banton, Capleton, Luciano, Garnett Silk and many others is captivating. Once you can stomach the "black power" type lyrics you are exposed to beautiful poetry and storytelling that transcends time and race. But I'm a noob so a lot of you guys may already know this.
