For the life of me, I don't know why I didn't like this album the first time I listened to it a few years ago. Pretty much after giving it a second chance it clicked like the first time never happened. It's raw as ****, the guitar tone scratchy to the point of being nails-on-chalkboard, and the riffs obtuse enough to give a geometry teacher nightmares, but it's just so much fun. I can listen to this as pop music just as easily as art rock. I must have been on an off day or something.
