Did you know that nerdy middle aged Japanese guy who keeps popping up in the photos actually does background vocals on that album? He also graces most of the album covers, which have brilliant titles such as "heavy metal bulldozer", "heavy metal drill", "heavy metal chainsaw", and, of course, "heavy metal fruit basket" - the japanese version of which came with an actually fruit basket. Anyways, I digress - the whole reason he became, in effect, the bands mascot is because he's a huge metal collecting nerd in real life. You know those bands singing about how metal metalheads are because they listen to metal? Well, metalucifer takes it up a notch; they're a metal band singing about metalheads who listen to metal bands that sing about how metal metalheads are who listen to metal are so much more metal... because they're listening to metalucifer. What's so brilliant about this is that it's just a matter of time until someone decides to write songs about listening to metalucifer.....
