I don't really agree with reparations either, but deej's model makes more sense than any other I've seen. That's because the families who owned slaves were rich as **** and it is extraordinarily likely that that wealth was carried on throughout the generations. That means that the lifestyle that these people can afford was built on the backs of slaves, I think they can share a little bit of the cut. Obviously there should be exceptions and all that when it comes down to individual cases, but you could make them exempt.
