I say, no. In terms of classical music, I think it's in it's own niche. Stuff like indie has it's own place and it is wildly popular, but you won't find too many people that regularly listen to classical anymore and it doesn't influence music as much anymore.

Yes, you'll still find classical radio stations and whatnot, but can you honestly name a lot of people who listen to it on the regular? Outside of like, band students, people who play classical music, etc.?

In that sense I think jazz has systematically replaced it as art music.
