I used to ****ing love this album but it's been forever and a day since I played it and I was kind of worried that the early-mid 90s sound would make it feel even more dated than it kind of already did. **** it though, I always thought Nas' flow was laidback on this album, but I think it's that he speaks so clearly that you can mistake the intensity if you don't give this **** both ears. This is not a club song by any stretch of the imagination but it's an incredibly high energy track that keeps that energy under its skin.
