If I understand correctly, and please anybody tell me if I'm wrong about it, it's stopped funding to
international abortion clinics. Meaning we are no longer paying American money taking care of another country's problems.
So even though it
might be a stepping stone to Trump banning abortions, the idea behind it is less about denying people that right and more about not pouring American money into other countries. Those problems should not be our problems to fix.
It just seems people hate it because they read the two phrases "stopped funding" and "abortion clinics" with out reading the context of it.
