Sure, one day your car isn't going to start when you need it to, but why temp fate at this point by changing it out? Run that sucker into the ground, I say.
Update: TFW when you go for an oil change and have them inspect the battery that you've had for nine years, and everything checks out okay. I'll be the first to admit that things have been good with my 12V Enertec Zet MX. Almost -- too good. So much so that it's actually been "weirding me out," with each new turn of the engine that goes on just a little too long having me say, "Is this the end? Do I have to say goodbye?" From past experience on other vehicles, I've had to say goodbye to starters, batteries, spark plugs and the like, so this departure is a welcome surprise.

Now I ain't much for braggin', but hot damn if I don't have the 8th Wonder of the World under my hood. The average lifespan of a car battery is two to five years, Google says. Well I'm going 20, folks, as the Guinness World Records is where this is all headed.
