Communicating by
Hundred Waters
I saw these guys open for
The xx in like 2012 and was so entranced by their sound I bought their album at the show and followed their music ever since. this is the kind of "indie rock" that I really dig; slow moving, early morning contemplation kinda
shit.
and I mean no wonder they played with

Communicating seems more upbeat than their last two albums - or at least more pronounced beats here. Then there's the almost too similar to
Fiona Apple ballads, which are fine I guess (I like Apple enough, but I think id rather just listen to
When the Pawn.. if need be) if not a bit off putting. All in all I really like the first half or so and the rest will probably grow on me anyways.
haven't listend to much from this year in all honesty, but this would be near the top, along with
Brockhampton
