For me, the best shit from the 80s was the dominance of Prince and Aston Villa becoming champions of England & Europe. Those are the things I'd have liked to experience.
Unless some Leicester style miracle happens or some PSG investment comes along then I'll never see Villa win either trophy in my lifetime and that ruins my enjoyment a bit.
