I think when you get to bands like Creed things start becoming derivative. Kudos to Chula mentioning the band King's X ... and not Led Zeppelin. There is something about the song (maybe the melody at some point) that reminds me of Vaseline by STP, and the singer does that Eddie Vedder
yalp when he sings the chorus. It like combination of King's X (as CV mentioned), STP, Pearl Jam, and even Collective Soul in there too near the end of the song. Probably a few other band comparisons there too if only they came to mind. But all of that doesn't mean much, cause that is just the natural progression of music where a band draws from previous bands that came before them. In the end it just comes down to whether you like them or not.
It's not the worst out there. If you like, then like them. Don't let anyone upset your apple cart.
