Yeah the defence is a weakness. Which is why I'd have Terry if he agreed to return which I doubt. He has been excellent for us in the Championship, even though it is a step down in quality. At 37 you could get one more tournament. Maldini, Nesta, Cannavaro, Thuram all defenders and played international football until around then.
I would honestly give him a call if I was Southgate. "Do you want one last tournament? No N bombs though."
