CCG's are like a mix of poker and chess for sure

Tournaments that require you to play every deck eliminates all the strategic planning that goes into banning/deck targeting. The reason you see people different lineups is because they have different win conditions in mind. I like that.
An example: Warlock is crazy popular right now. Bring 3 decks that Warlock has a less than 50% winrate against and never ban it. This puts you in a position to beat every opponent who runs warlock because they have to get a win with it.
(This is a terrible example because Warlock is pretty much sh
itting on everything and there aren't 3 decks that can consistently beat it, but you get the point)
