If you're too bitchy for the itchy then just condition that **** often and you'll be fine after a few months. If you take poor care of your beard then it can be downright painful, especially if you live in a dry and/or windy climate. Had to shave one once because it got dried out in some especially brutal Santa Ana winds before I started making the connection between facial hair and shampoo/conditioner. It felt like someone was pulling on my beard when a gust wold come by, it was awful.

When I start shaving my head you bet I'm gonna upgrade to a trimmer. For now my shaving is too infrequent and small scale for the money.
