should have a say in what happens. I don't know if there is a solution other than an unethical way of doing it, in which case I'd opt for OH's position instead. It's kind of like fighting against racism. You can't just control people's thoughts or speech but let's not make it socially acceptable. Just as it shouldn't be socially acceptable, let alone encouraged, for one person to make a decision that drastically changed two people's lives.
