Aha, it all comes out eventually. Now that really IS interesting. See, now if you tell people "blah, blah German, blah, blah" they don't care, but if you tell them the details about concentration camps, refusals to join the Hitler youth and resultant (!) grandchild brain-fukkery then your heritage actually becomes interesting and meaningful.
Actually, it starts to sound pretty damn fascinating...
