Limited capitalism really is the best system if your looking at whatever generates the most happiness, structure and access to resources that they don't have to constantly create themselves (electricity, access to real-time information from across the world, entertainment, supermarkets, etc). Highest standard of living and stability, gg no re.
Anarchy or even some small-scale form of communism could be fun and all, but people will get sick of them real quick if everyone has to go back to toiling away 20+ hours a day on the farm and don't have easy access to the conveniences of modern life.
In that sense, large-scale automation of everything in the future might end up being a blessing. Scarcity in a lot of respects would disappear and at that point you wouldn't need capitalism to provide that umbrella/ecosystem I described above.
