Well, Luna was interesting, but not what I was expecting based on Galaxie 500, and Hanatarash's performance was kind of bewildering to me, so I'm not sorry to move on to....

Song #8: Garbage - Only Happy When It Rains (1995)



^ Best song title so far, and the only song of the nine that features a girl singer. Nice noisy guitars, which nonetheless pause long enough for the singer to deliver the title line, this seems like a very well-designed song with something for both pop and rock fans. I liked this song - especially the line that taunts the weather; "Pour your misery down on me." I hope I remember those words next time I'm enduring wet London.
