might be possible within the band. I'd certainly be up for it, although the others in the band (Paul, the guitarist at least) do tend like over-working songs, so it all might be more hassle than I'd be prepared to go through at the moment!
I can certainly make some songs from your lyrics on my own, which will also stimulate me to work out how to home record properly... and if I'm in the position get the band to bash out that music next to a mic then I'll certainly make it happen.
So anyhow, which songs did you have in mind?
