The vocals sounding so much like Lamb era Peter Gabriel is what makes this such a sweet Genesis rip off.
The thing is though, unless you’ve totally exhausted old Genesis, I can’t quite get why you don’t wouldn’t just listen to the real thing. I mean, I still love the **** out of Lamb. If this is what I’m in the mood for that’s what I listen to... the unassailable original
but... I listen to other knock off bands all the time so yeah ... I get it
It’s uncanny that knocking off Sabbath and The Ramones works so well but Genesis and Led Zep and Rush - their knock off bands are almost always not worth the time.
The White Stripes being an exception for Zep.
