Well, that's sad Trollheart. You'll never walk alone must surely hold the record as the most frequently-sung pop song of the 60s. In fact I just learned that it goes back to before Gerry Marsden's version: "You'll Never Walk Alone is a show tune from the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel."
I used to like Ferry Cross The Mersey, also sentimental, but a bit more lively. GM certainly had a great singing voice:-
