It’s not going to mean a raise for me unless it drives up wages and salaries across the board. It’s something I really hope happens for the well-being of others but I know all too well that’s not the same as the emotional and psychological investment in something that’s very directly personal. I think it’s repulsive that anybody makes less and I’m not making any assumptions about what anyone on here makes cause you never know but it’s not like the stimulus check where my personal feelings are absolutely rabid about it. Or the $600 extra when I was collecting unemployment.
Florida already voted to raise the minimum wage to $15 btw.
