For whatever reason I do struggle to hear my off key singing while I’m in recording mode but I start to hear the off key parts more clearly once I’ve taken a step back and listened to the song in different contexts. Maybe I’m lacking in some innate ability to hear exact pitches I dunno
Also I think there’s a charm to knowing just one person made everything in a song (except the drums they’re just midi loops that I Tetris in there in various orders)
