This got great writeups but I have to say I lasted one episode and hated it.

Have you seen Sons of Anarchy? Or Gangs of London? Just thinking Sopranos-like. Have you watched Line of Duty? Assume you have, and if not, why not? And if you want something more, um, Scottish, the excellent Mark Bonnar in season one of Guilt (don't bother with season two though)
