What does a peado look like? Sadly, the majority of pedophile crimes are committed within families by individuals who give no outward sign of their depravity. The second largest group are middle age and older men who travel overseas where their money goes furthest . In some SE Asian families children are forced by their parents to sell themsleves as the only reliable significant source of income. Their children’s pain and trauma is often the price paid to prevent starvation.
The worst instance I’ve encountered directly was revealed by an AIDs patient I was caring for. His much older brother, a member of The Salvation Army, sold his young brother from age four to other members of The Salvation Army.
