I came across Geoff Bastow who did a lot of work for Bruton in the 70s and 80s (along with his brother Trevor). Here he has written/arranged the tune "Take That' from the album JWV414 "Double trouble". A nice tune with great tempo. It's as if the flute is going as hard as it can, with the guitar playing a nice solo. And then they finish together.

Have since been looking around for more angry flute. I listened to Jethro Tull and Ian Anderson, including the concert at Madison Square Garden 1978 and the 1976 concert at Tampa Stadium below.

Would anyone have any recommendations for other really strong flute pieces, where the flute is really going for it? No matter what genre. Thanks.
