I think the worst thing we can do is assume something sinister. If Plankton wanted to let us know what was going on, he'd tell us. All we can really do is just hope the guy is okay and move on.
Just saw Jadis' post. There you go, he's probably only gone temporarily it sounds like. So maybe we give the guy some space?
