This whole thread is flawed. The notion that "Killing other people is wrong, don't do it!" Came way before Christianity, the first major civilizations (Sumeria) had this law - 3000 years before Christ was born. As a matter of fact, Sumerian law is where we get the addage "an eye for an eye". Hiu's question is not unanswerable... each person will answer it as they see fit. There is no right or wrong, it's subjective. What Hiu's question may be is inconclusive. There will never be 100% agreeance in either direction (this is a fair assumption, I'm sure you all agree) as long as there are large civs.

So, technically, I am answering hiu's question with...
Because it just is.
There. I have answered the unanswerable question.

But seriously... I think for the most part it is wrong, but there are extinuating circumstances. That is why people the law doesn't really deal with "absolutes". Well, not anymore...
